William F. Malloy, M.P.A.

Bill is a Compass Strategies consultant and represents Compass clients before the Massachusetts state legislature.

Bill posseses over 25 years of government relations and business consulting experience, serving at the helm of the Boston-based Malloy Group.  He represents a number of law enforcement agencies, to include the Essex County Sheriff's Department and the MBTA Police Association, as well as a helicopter manufacturer that provides rotary wing aircraft to law enforcement.

Prior to his career in government relations, Bill was a United States Navy officer.  He currently holds the rank of Captain in the Navy Reserve.

Bill served on former U.S. Representative Gerry Studds' service academy nomination board and is the immediate past president of the United States Naval Academy Alumni Association of Boston.  He remains on the Association's Board of Trustees.  Bill also served on the Board of Advisors to Shackleton Schools for 10 years and on the Board of Directors for the New England-Canada Business Council for 7 years.

In 2001, Bill began serving as an adjunct professor at the United States Merchant Marine Academy, teaching leadership and ethics to Navy Reserve officer and commissioned officers of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.  In addition, Bill teaches courses in mine warfare and anti-terrorism force protection. 

Bill earned a B.S. from the United States Naval Academy and a M.P.A. from Harvard University. 

He resides in Norwell, MA.
